Job Vacancy - Production assistant

Advertised - 4/7/17

What we’re looking for

A super enthusiastic, well organised individual who loves picking up the phone and calling people!  Someone who loves dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s, not missing a thing.  The ideal person will use their initiative and think outside of the box to ensure everything has been thought of and take full ownership of their position.

Does this sound like you?  If not, then this role isn’t for you  :(

Your day-to-day role will be organising film shoots for our top clients.  This will involve booking kit, locations, actors and ordering props.  There might even be a bit of bossing the team around!
At times you will be out on location, ensuring we are sticking to schedule, asking questions in video interviews and looking after our wonderful clients.
As a small company there will also be opportunities to get involved with organising our marketing activities, events for our clients and our team socials!

What we value

A positive, self-motivated and hardworking attitude to work and life is key to fitting in at Rockadove. This isn’t necessarily a 9-5 job – working in the Video Production industry can mean long days and lots of travel!  We need someone who can power through an early start with a coffee and see off a late night with a cold beer (soft drinks also available!).

What we value most is hard work, which will never go unnoticed in our tight-knit creative team.

Where we work

We currently have offices in Cardiff Bay, with a view voted by Wales Online as one of the best office views in Wales! Our small studio includes a sound recording booth and an indoor ideas garden, where all our creativity flows!
Our client base is international and we film extensively across the UK on a regular basis, so there may well be opportunities to help out on locations while we film certain projects.
