It is fantastic to eventually launch the new Pobl Group video and having over 20,000 views within the first 24hrs is an accomplishment of it's own.
Pobl came to us wanting a recruitment video and they wanted to do something different. This is the dream with any client brief, as one of our strengths at Rockadove is creative ideas. We have marketing at our core, so really understand how viewers engage with video content and also how video can fit within a wider marketing campaign.
Working with the initial ideas Pobl had, which were great, we looked at how we could incorporate bold colours like their new brand and make the video more narrative lead.
Simon, our lead camera operator, came up with the powder paint idea and before we knew it we had ordered in a hefty amount of the stuff before booking out a film studio after they wrapped on DaVincis Demons. A lot of organising and planning later, we treated the filming day as we would a live event. Having over 100 extras/volunteers there on the day meant we needed to keep the momentum and enthusiasm going, to ensure this was reflected in the film.
It helped that we had a DJ pumping out some tunes and an 'All You Can Eat' Ice Cream van to keep everyone happy!
